Most of you probably know the coastal walk from Bondi Beach to Cogee Beach. The walk is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth checking out! What most people don’t know, is that there are so many other walks in Sydney along the harbor and shoreline. Some of them take you to beautifully and quiet beaches and others will offer you amazing views.
The walk starts from either Shark Beach or Queens Beach. ‘See the real Sydney’ would advice you to start walking from Queens Beach. Start with a refreshing swim at Queens beach, take your camera and explore all the other beaches on the way. The views along the walking track are amazing. Almost the whole way you get to see the Harbor Bridge and the tall buildings from the city. The landscape of trees, blue water, rocks and beaches is stunning. The first beach on the track is Hermit Bay, followed by Tingara Beach and Milk beach and after that, the walk will take you to Shark Beach. Here you’ll find a kiosk/cafe and toilet/change facilities to get some refreshment after the walk. If you would start your walk from shark beach, make sure you get to queens beach around sunset, it’s a beautiful place to watch the sun go down behind the city!
The walk isn’t as busy as the Coastal walk mentioned before (it can happen that you’ll find no one on one of the beaches along the walk), but it is almost as beautiful and definitely worth trying!
