Hermit Bay is an other one of those amazing secret spots that offers you the gorgeous view of the city skyline. It has a beachy area where you can go for a swim and there’s a grass area, which is good for picnics or sports activities. The bay is often chosen for topless sunbathing or family picnics. Best access to the bay is from the park surrounding Strickland House.

If you want to walk from Queens beach, catch bus 325 from Circular Quay stand D and get off at Vaucluse Rd nr Queens Av. If you want to Walk from the Strickland House,Catch the same bus, but get off at Vaucluse Rd nr Strickland house.
